Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)

Registered sonographers can apply their clinical scanning knowledge to testing how AI models handle ultrasound questions. The role suits practitioners who explain their reasoning well in writing and want flexible remote contract work. It comes from an AI training company that produces expert evaluation data for AI developers.

What you'll do

• Create lifelike ultrasound cases that cover scanning technique, findings and the appropriate next steps
• Draft model answers that explain why each protocol and measurement applies
• Score AI responses on whether they are sonographically accurate and safe for patients
• Spot answers that sound plausible but would overlook a critical diagnosis

What you'll need

• Active ARDMS credential (RDMS, RDCS or RVT) in one or more specialties
• At least two years of hands-on clinical scanning
• Solid knowledge of sonographic findings, protocol selection and image optimization
• Clear written English that a fellow sonographer could easily follow
• A plus: several specialties such as vascular or cardiac, high-risk OB, MSK or pediatric work, or experience teaching new sonographers

Good to know

• Independent contractor role, fully remote and asynchronous with no set schedule
• At least 10 hours a week, adjustable from one week to the next
• Pay ranges from $60 to $90 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly through Stripe
• Selection involves a resume review and possibly a written assessment before onboarding
