Content Writer & Editor

This contract role involves reviewing and improving written content used to train AI models, with a particular focus on spotting low-quality, machine-generated text. It suits writers, editors and English teachers with a sharp eye for language; an AI background isn't necessary. The work supports a client project run by an AI training company.

What you'll do

• Judge written pieces for clarity, logical flow and factual accuracy against project guidelines
• Flag and label AI-generated passages, especially generic or artificial-sounding text
• Edit documents for grammar, sentence construction, organization and tone
• Write up feedback, analyses and suggestions that strengthen training data
• Coordinate remotely with project leads and fellow specialists while meeting set deadlines

What you'll need

• A track record of writing, editing or reviewing text
• A Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics or a similar subject, or experience teaching English
• English at a native level and close attention to detail
• The ability to tell human writing apart from AI output
• Comfort working on your own and staying organized
