Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age to access or use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Nature of the Service

The Site is a job search service that aggregates and summarises employment opportunities published by third parties and directs users to the websites on which those opportunities are posted. extractgigs is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, employment agency, or agent of any employer or hiring platform. We do not participate in, influence or guarantee any hiring decision, and we do not charge job seekers any fee for using the Site.

3. Job Listings

3.1 Third-party content. Job listings are sourced from third parties, including employers, job boards, hiring platforms and public employment services.

3.2 Summaries. Certain listings are presented as original summaries prepared by extractgigs. Such summaries are provided for convenience only; in the event of any inconsistency, the official description on the originating website prevails.

3.3 Accuracy. Although we endeavour to keep listings accurate and current, we make no representation or warranty that any listing is accurate, complete, current, available or suitable for you. Compensation, requirements and other terms may be changed by the hiring party without notice. You are responsible for verifying all details on the originating website before applying.

3.4 Fraud prevention. Legitimate employers do not require payment from applicants. You should never pay any fee, or disclose banking or other sensitive financial information, in exchange for an offer of employment.

4. Applications and Third-Party Relationships

When you select “Apply,” you are directed to a third-party website. Any application you submit, and any relationship or agreement you enter into with an employer or hiring platform, is solely between you and that party and is governed by its terms. extractgigs does not guarantee that you will be selected, hired, compensated or offered any particular volume of work.

5. Referral Relationships

extractgigs participates in referral programmes operated by certain hiring platforms. Where you apply through a referral link and are subsequently hired or engaged, extractgigs may receive a referral fee or commission from that platform. Any such fee is paid by the platform concerned, and you are not charged for it. The selection of featured roles is at our sole discretion, and a referral relationship does not constitute an endorsement of extractgigs by the platform concerned.

6. Acceptable Use

You may use the Site solely for your own lawful job search. In using the Site, you agree not to:

1. copy, scrape, crawl, harvest or otherwise extract content from the Site by automated means, or republish our listings or summaries;
2. interfere with, disrupt or place an unreasonable load on the Site, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or its related systems;
3. use the Site to transmit spam, disseminate false information or violate any law; or
4. impersonate extractgigs or misrepresent any affiliation with extractgigs.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including the extractgigs name, logo and design and our original job summaries, are owned by extractgigs and are protected by intellectual property laws. Listing information, trademarks and trade names of third parties remain the property of their respective owners. Certain listings are made available under third-party licences, and the applicable attributions are displayed with those listings. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any part of the Site.

8. Third-Party Websites

The Site contains links to websites that extractgigs does not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, availability, practices or terms of any third-party website, and the inclusion of a link does not imply our endorsement of that website or its operator.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, extractgigs disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any information on it is accurate, complete or current.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, extractgigs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or employment opportunities, arising out of or relating to:

1. your use of, or inability to use, the Site;
2. any listing or other content on the Site;
3. any application you submit; or
4. your dealings with any employer or hiring platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless extractgigs from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or restrict your access to the Site at any time and without notice if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or that your use of the Site poses a risk to extractgigs, its users or third parties.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when they were last revised. Your continued use of the Site after any revision takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and extractgigs concerning your use of the Site.
