SECURITY SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY MANAGEMENT OFFICE at the U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying and adhering to security disciplines, concepts, and principles to support the command's Security Program; 2) Maintaining automated databases to ensure administrative and security information is accurate and in compliance; 3) Conducting investigations of security violations and preparing necessary reports and documents; and 4) Identifying security problems, analyzing alternatives and recommending solutions.
