Physician AI Trainer – Hospital Medicine

Hospitalists can put their inpatient judgment to work improving how AI systems read and reason about medical records. This remote contract suits board-certified physicians who know adult inpatient charting well and enjoy careful, detail-oriented review. The work supports an AI training company's client project centered on hospital care and clinical documentation.

What you'll do

• Examine clinical notes and structured FHIR data to judge whether each claim is backed by the chart
• Assess adult inpatient notes such as HPI, past medical history, med rec, social history, and assessment and plan
• Flag gaps or errors, including dosing that should account for kidney or liver function, drug interactions, and age-specific details
• Apply project guidelines consistently and give feedback that improves model output and data quality

What you'll need

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine (a Hospital Medicine focused practice designation also fits)
• Five or more years as a hospitalist, with inpatient practice in the past two years
• Solid grasp of admission, progress, transition, and discharge notes
• A background in chart review, CDI, utilization review, or coding QA is a plus
