Game Designer / Gameplay Developer

via micro1

RemoteContractArts & Design

Key skills

  • Data Annotation

About the job

This contract project asks game designers and gameplay developers to watch recorded footage of robotic arms handling physical tasks and label what happens in each clip. It suits people who naturally think in systems, states and outcomes, and who can stay consistent through repetitive review work. The labeled data supports an AI training company building the next wave of AI models.

What you'll do

  • Watch videos of robot arms at work and tag actions, object interactions, state changes, errors and final results
  • Apply the client's annotation and grading rules inside purpose-built labeling software
  • Flag ambiguous moments and write short notes explaining your call
  • Review other annotations and give feedback when asked, while finishing batches on time

What you'll need

  • A background in gameplay development, game design, game QA, technical design or something related (preferred)
  • A solid grasp of action sequences, rules, object states and cause and effect
  • Experience testing or debugging gameplay and writing up how it behaves
  • A sharp eye for detail and clear writing skills

Good to know

  • Remote contract engagement
  • Open to candidates in Europe, the UK, Oceania, North America and Latin America
  • No AI, robotics or annotation background is required, though prior exposure helps
