Business Analyst (French Language)

In this contract role, you'll solve analytical problems and logic puzzles, then write correct answers and explanations that help large language models reason better. It suits bilingual analysts, writers and researchers who work comfortably in both English and French. You don't need a background in any particular specialised field. The work is for a fast-growing AI company that partners with major AI labs.

What you'll do

• Work through analytical tasks, such as comparing sales growth across locations or solving rule-based scheduling puzzles
• Supply accurate answers and clear reasoning for questions AI models get wrong
• Split long material into logical parts, summarise it and check its claims with online research
• Design new scenarios used to train the models

What you'll need

• Strong written English and French
• Solid research, reasoning and basic arithmetic, plus the ability to give detailed, constructive annotations
• A computer and a reliable internet connection
• Preferred: a degree in engineering, statistics, communications, literature, journalism or a similar field (or equivalent experience), professional writing experience, and familiarity with Excel and Google Suite

Good to know

• Two-month freelance contract that may be extended depending on performance and project needs; no medical or paid leave
• Choose 20, 30 or 40 hours a week, with at least 4 hours a day
• You must overlap with US Pacific time for 2-5 hours daily
• Compensation is set according to experience and expertise
• Selection involves an analytical challenge, an English business writing test and a language assessment
