About the Position: Works under the general supervision of the Commander or Deputy Commander, who establishes overall objectives, priorities, and available resources. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes directing the distribution of workload among subordinate staff to promote balanced operations and adherence to organizational priorities; serving as a principal advisor to Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) managers and staff on applicable policies, regulations, and procedural standards; conducting analyses of MTF operational performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or deviations that may impact patient care outcomes; and leading the development and improvement of procedures, workflows, and related training designed to enhance staff effectiveness and strengthen patient care delivery across the facility. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-11).
