SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the ORDNANCE TEST & EVALUATION DIVISION, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13/14 grade level or NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Direct technical experience executing or overseeing complex technical test activities across complex disciplines, such as propulsion testing, detonation physics, warhead evaluation, environmental conditioning, or non-destructive evaluation (radiography), ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols are strictly followed; 2) Managing the full lifecycle of test programs from initial planning, resource estimation, and budgeting to the validation/verification and formal reporting of test results to customers; 3) Providing first line technical supervision, mentorship or operational direction to multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and technicians, matching technical competencies to mission requirements and fostering compliance with merit and safety standards.
