SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the of Office of the Deputy Director Operational Support of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Experience performing contracting functions (i.e. solicitations, negotiations, awards, modifications, etc.) for procurements involving Information Technology (IT) equipment, services and supplies;Experience assigning and reviewing work for acquisition staff to ensure efficient operations and accomplish organizational goals; AND Experience applying contracting principles and policy to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
