This vacancy is for a GS-0101-12, SEXUAL ASSAULT RESP COORD located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Sexual Assault Prevention Response and Recovery Program in Washington, District of Columbia.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements: This position has a positive Education Requirement in addition to at least one year of Specialized Experience or substitution of education for experience or combination (if applicable) in order to be found minimally qualified. You MUST meet the following requirements: EDUCATION: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. NOTE: YOU MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPTS. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. NOTE: YOU MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPTS. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal or private sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Specialized experience may include the following: Analyze training requirements, tracked workforce credentials, and delivered training to employees and leadership. Coordinating the victim witness assistance program to ensure the rights of the individuals are protected. Managing program data, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance for DSAID and CATCH systems. Preparing and submitting sexual assault reports in compliance with Commandant policies and procedures. NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
