RECREATION AID (BOWLING)

About the position: This position is a RPT (part-time) Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) position assigned to the Bowling Center on Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA - Ft Eustis location. Position is guaranteed 20 hours per week. This position may be subject to holidays, nights, weekends and on-call work.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: This is an entry level position and therefore no minimum qualifications are required. Desired Experience: Experience working in a bowling center or similar recreation facility, including basic knowledge of bowling operations, bowling rules and procedures, and minor lane or pinsetter troubleshooting and operation of cash register is desired. Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate. Work hours vary based on the needs of the activity and may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and other non-traditional hours. Employees may be required to work a flexible schedule to meet operational requirements.
