Information Technology Specialist (CUSTSPT)

About the position: This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 773 FSS NAF IT Department on JBER, AK. Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of customer support principles, IT security policies, methods and procedures for documenting resolutions, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of IT design principles, methodologies, and approaches used in testing, installing, operating, managing and maintaining systems that support functional requirements. Must have 2 years of relevant, full-time work experience. Every 2 years of IT related education may be substituted for I year of work experience. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
