HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT AND PLACEMENT)

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOUCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/PLACEMENT) in the CIVILIAN WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Use knowledge of the recruitment hiring process to initiate recruitment actions and resolve recruiting problems/ issues; 2) Provide guidance to management on a variety of recruitment options; and 3) Use electronic personnel databases to enter information for personnel request and pull reports from the database to provide current status to managers. NOTE: This experience must be supported by your resume. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Applying complex civilian recruitment and placement and classification concepts, practices, regulations, precedents and procedures; 2) Guiding managers on the use of special recruiting authorities (e.g., veterans, direct hire) and strategies; 3) Providing advisory, guidance, and training to managers and command personnel on the hiring process; 4) Use of electronic personnel databases, systems and reports.
