What you'll do

  • Build substantial software projects modeled on how real engineering teams work
  • Design structured coding challenges and write detailed documentation for each one
  • Write deterministic tests that confirm solutions are correct and results repeat reliably
  • Package each task in Docker so it runs the same way on any machine

What you'll need

  • Proficiency in a modern language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, Rust or C/C++
  • A track record of designing or maintaining projects that span many files
  • Practical experience with Docker or comparable container tooling
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Preferred: full-stack or end-to-end application work, plus familiarity with test frameworks, build tooling and code-quality practices

Good to know

  • Remote contract role at about 20 hours per week, starting as soon as possible with no fixed end date
  • Listed pay ranges from $50 to $100 per hour
