UI/UX Designer

Experienced product, UI and UX designers can use their craft to help AI systems get better at design. You would build design exercises and judge interfaces produced by AI models. The role suits designers who can explain the reasoning behind their choices in writing, and the work is offered by an AI data company that creates evaluation material for leading AI research labs.

What you'll do

• Create realistic product design briefs and carry them through to finished interface designs
• Write model critiques that explain judgments on layout, visual hierarchy, spacing and interaction
• Assess AI-generated interfaces for usability and visual quality
• Show how professional designers use Figma features such as components, auto layout and prototyping

What you'll need

• Two or more years working professionally in UI or UX design
• A portfolio that includes shipped product or interface work
• Strong Figma skills, or deep experience with a similar design tool
• Clear written English
• Design systems, UX research or front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS) is a plus

Good to know

• Independent contract role, fully remote and asynchronous, with no set schedule
• You commit to 10 or more hours each week and can adjust week to week
• Pay ranges from $60 to $120 per hour depending on experience and is paid out weekly
• Screening includes a resume review and possibly a written assessment
