ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (CONSTRUCTION)

You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (CONSTRUCTION) in the PROJECT MANAGMENT AND ENGINEERING DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing, assessing and resolving complex and diverse construction and design problems encountered during the performance of projects assigned; 2) Assisting the construction engineer on technical situations requiring extensive knowledge of engineering practices and construction methods; 3) Reviewing project plans and specifications prior to contract award for technical soundness, compliance with requirements and to determine practicability from a construction management standpoint; 4) Utilizing construction project scheduling software to track the progress of assigned projects; NOTE: This information must be supported in your résumé to be considered for the position.
