Senior Super Intelligence Engineer / Architect

This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer at the Department of the Interior. The Senior Super Intelligence Engineer / Architect serves as the Department's senior technical authority and strategic leader for Super Intelligence (SI).The minimum pay is $151,661 with salary considerations based on the selectee's current salary and other factors. Location negotiable will be any DOI Office.

Demonstrated mastery in SI engineering and architecture, including design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-scale SI/ML systems; deep technical expertise in emerging SI technologies; and advanced proficiency in data, cloud, and cybersecurity integration practices. TQ 2: Proven ability to lead Department-wide technical direction and provide authoritative engineering guidance on complex, high-impact SI initiatives; demonstrated excellence in strategic thinking, technical communication, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing enterprise adoption of secure and responsible SI systems Qualifications will be evaluated based on how clearly and concisely you emphasize your level of responsibilities, the scope and complexity of your programs; services managed; program accomplishments; policy initiatives undertaken; level of contacts; the sensitivity and criticality of the issues addressed; and the results of your actions taken. Typically, experience will have been gained at the GS-15 or equivalent in the private sector or non-governmental organizations.
