This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department in the Navy Region Southwest. The primary purpose of this position is involved in receiving, storing, issuing, signing in and out of various tools, equipment, and repair parts, and maintaining stock records. Located at NASNI Auto Skills Center in Naval Base Coronado, CA.

Qualifications

Six months of related experience in a maintenance shop environment. Knowledge of a wide range of tools, equipment and machinery. Ability and knowledge to identify and select appropriate tools, equipment and machinery. Ability to select and set up storage location, considering such factors as the use, size, weight, shape and nomenclature of items. Ability to set up and maintain records. Ability to make minor repairs to equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
