This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), House Office Buildings (HOB), Tenant Services Division, Carpentry Branch. Locksmith Worker and assists Locksmiths to install, repair, test and modify locking devices on doors, desks, storage compartments, safes and other secured locations. Incumbent receives training on both mechanical and electronic locking devices to accomplish special security requirements.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Skilled in the installation and repair techniques of electronic security locks and systems to assemble, test and install of devices. (ex: keying and rekeying locks; installing locking devices; using small hand tools; and adjusting and using power tools common to the trade.)
