About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the McElveen Library Shaw AFB.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind that demonstrates the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Experience or training that demonstrates the ability to perform simple computer and word processing. Typing skills are desirable. Work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; recurring activities such as bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching; pushing loaded book trucks; and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items. Physically able to frequently lift boxes of up to 40 pounds. Able to reach up to 72 inches with or without the assistance of a step stool. Ability in dealing with the public. Be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
