Human Resources Specialist

This position is Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Air Force Services Center at Port San Antonio, TX. This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hrs. per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience with applying a full range of HR personnel laws, policies, and procedures. Experience with interpreting and advising on personnel management and security administration. Experience with analyzing complex situations to make a final determination. Experience with utilizing and troubleshooting personnel database systems. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of Personnel Security, Suitability and Adjudication Standards (Child & Youth Focus).
