Equipment Repairer

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Travis Outdoor Recreation on Travis Air Force Base, CA. Physical Effort: Occasionally lifting and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently lifts and carries objects weighing up to 40 pounds. May be required to work weekends. Eligible to use base facilities such as: Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience and/or training in the maintenance, repair and upkeep of recreational and gardening equipment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Must be able tofollow oral and written instructions/procedures. Ability to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time.
