Custodial Worker

Serves as the Custodial Worker in a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) location. The primary purpose of this position is to Perform a variety of custodial duties within the store Read the entire announcement before starting the application process. Your resume should show your specific knowledge, skill, and abilities for this position in relation to each of the elements being measured. Examples of qualifying experience: Work as a janitor in a retail, office, or warehouse environment. Use machines (floor scrubber, power washers, and floor buffers) along with other tools (e.g. buckets, mops, cleaning cloth, cleaning solutions, squeegees) to do the job. You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Physical requirements: (1) Must move and control heavy equipment, carry and set up ladders and scaffolding, and work from ladders and scaffolds. Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds regularly and, occasionally, object weighing 50 pounds or more.
