Chartered Accountant Expert

Qualified chartered accountants can apply their technical judgment to AI evaluation by building accounting problems and checking how AI models answer them. It suits practitioners who know reporting standards well and can explain their conclusions clearly in writing. The work is offered through an expert data company that supplies evaluation material to AI research labs.

What you'll do

• Create accounting cases ranging from everyday entries to difficult reporting decisions
• Prepare model answers that explain which standard applies and why
• Review AI responses for errors against IFRS and local GAAP requirements
• Identify answers that sound convincing but break accounting rules

What you'll need

• Chartered Accountant designation from a recognized body (for example ICAEW, ICAI, CA ANZ or SAICA), currently in good standing
• At least two years of experience since qualifying
• Strong knowledge of audit, tax or financial reporting
• Clear written English and availability for 10 or more hours weekly
• Big Four background, consolidation experience, or a CPA or CFA is a plus

• Independent contractor role, fully remote and asynchronous with no set schedule
• Pay ranges from $85 to $125 per hour depending on experience, paid out weekly
