Production Controller (Aircraft) (Title 32) (Indefinite)

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a Production Controller (Aircraft) (Title 32) (Indefinite), Position Description Number D1064000 and is part of the VA AASF, National Guard.

Qualifications

WHO CAN APPLY: GROUP I - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Member (E1/PVT - E6/SSG) currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Army National Guard Military Technician Program. GROUP II - All qualified Virginia Army National Guard Male/Female Enlisted Member (E1/PVT - E6/SSG), regardless of employment status (Traditional, Military Technician or AGR). To be considered as a Group II applicant, proof of appointment/enlistment in the Virginia National Guard must be attached if the appointment/enlistment occurred within 60 days prior to, or during, the advertisement period. GROUP III - Individuals eligible for membership in the Virginia Army National Guard. Military Grades: Enlisted Member (E1/PVT - E6/SSG) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience developing, organizing, and integrating plans, schedules and resources for logistic support of aviation and unit maintenance operations. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant have at least 12 months specialized experience, education, or training, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government? This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as: Experience analyzing supported Aviation units' logistics capabilities and training requirements. Experience developing plans to improve technical proficiency of unit personnel and includes them in the aviation logistics efforts. Experience maintaining historical documentation and current Aviation logistics capabilities and capacities and compiling data on work processes for quality and quality improvements. Experience identifying full-time support and unit personnel capacities and capabilities, annual training schedules, tool and diagnostic test equipment requirements, repair parts, and facilities needed to satisfy operational and training flight requirements.
