NATURAL RESOURCES SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Senior Natural Resources Specialist in the Environmental Product Support Division within Environmental Planning and Conservation at either Echelon III or IV of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing scopes of work/performance work statements, government estimates, funds management, contractor proposal review and negotiation, contractor oversight, invoicing, and contracting officer representative (COR) duties, 2) Providing guidance, coordination and technical direction and potential solutions for natural resource products and services; 3) Environmental specialty areas such as ecosystem management, land and watershed management, fish and wildlife resources, and development of Integrated Natural Resources Management Plans and 4) Acting as a natural resource representative at meetings and/or conferences and coordinating/communicating with Navy entities and the chain of command.
