Golf Operations and Tournament Manager NF-03

This position is located at Whispering Firs Golf Course, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have experience in the overall management of a golf facility and in the supervising of at least one function of a golf facility, such as pro shop, sale administration, planning and scheduling tournaments or establishing administrative procedures and policies. Experience may include funds accountability, requisitioning, and supply procedures. Must have experience in the GHIN system and know all aspects of amateur golf rules and regulations. Must have knowledge of golf-related equipment and merchandise. Must have experience in all aspects of tournament operation. Must have ability to manage and maximize a tee-sheet. Will be required to work an uncommon tour of duty. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": A PGA Class -A membership in good standing.
