Finance Expert (US based)

Finance professionals can use their expertise to test and improve large language models in this short-term remote contract. It suits people with hands-on experience in areas such as investment banking, trading, private equity, FP&A or accounting who want to apply that background to AI evaluation. The work is for an AI research company that provides training data and specialist expertise to frontier AI labs.

What you'll do

• Test AI models on finance tasks and find where their answers fall short
• Build scoring rubrics for topics in your specialty, such as deal analysis or M&A work
• Work with AI researchers and other finance specialists on benchmarks, evaluation approaches and training methods

What you'll need

• At least two years in a finance field such as capital markets, portfolio management, quant, venture capital or financial consulting
• A solid command of forecasting, revenue builds, investment analysis and risk management
• Strong written English
• No AI background needed; a CFA (any level), CA, CPA or finance MBA is a plus

Good to know

• Freelance contract, fully remote, for candidates based in the US
• Flexible schedule of 10 to 30 hours per week
• Hourly pay of roughly $100 or more, depending on experience
• Initial term of about one month, which may be extended depending on performance and the project's needs
