HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Qualifications

To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Assisting with the administration of housing programs and applying housing policies and procedures. Inspecting housing properties, identifying maintenance needs, and recommending corrective actions. Analyzing housing occupancy, operating costs, and expenditures to prepare reports and recommend improvement. Using automated housing management systems to maintain records, verify information, and extract data. Providing housing guidance and coordinating services with agencies, residents, or housing partners. OR Master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related to Housing Management; OR A combination of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in or related to the work of this position AND education graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
